Gourmet x Undefeated sneaker

Gourmet has collaborated with fellow Los Angeles based brand, UNDFTD, on a new pair of epi leather high top sneakers that use an embossed UNDFTD Strike Logo on the upper. The shoe’s entire upper uses a premium epi leather, the same leather that you may have seen before on various luxury goods such as Louis Vuitton accessories. The shoes have no release date at the moment, but stay tuned for more information.

Rap superstar 50 Cent has taken the inevitable step into the fashion industry by launching his own G-Unit Clothing Co.

The full collection is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2004.

With Zoo York also blowing up huge these past couple of years, New Jersey native Marc Ecko is having no problem keeping up with the competition.

Bape Baby Milo x Chrome Hearts Plush Toy

Once again Bape presents an interesting new collaborative project, this time with LA jewelry/lifestyle brand Chrome Hearts. Together the two brands worked on the Baby Milo character plush toy. The toy comes in two colorways and received some nice custom eyes and a pendant from Chrome Hearts. The Bape Baby Milo x Chrome Hearts Plush Toy will be released at United Arrows and at Bape Stores soon.

Nigo gives us a look at the Bape x TEPE Toothbrush. There are three colorways of the toothbrush, one being coated in 24k gold. Furthermore the toothbrush features several icons from the Bape graphic catalogue.

A Bathing Ape x Undercover “Nowhere” sneaker

The original Nowhere store was operated in the 90’s by Nigo (A Bathing Ape) and Jun Takashi (Undercover) in Harajuku, Tokyo. Earlier this year, that store front was recreated at Dover Street Market in London, where we have already seen the resurgence of their original Last Orgy 2 brand.
Now we have a look at a collaborative A Bathing and Undercover “Nowhere” sneaker. Set against the iconic Bape green camo, the shoe’s Jack Purcell-like silhouette features an inset “Nowhere” toe cap and a co-branded footbed. These will be available soon at Nowhere’s shop-in-shop at Dover Street Market London.

Original Fake x Hajime Sorayama "No Future Companion" T-Shirt

The Kaws Original Fake "No Future Companion" Toy was released today on Kawsone and sold out in the matter of 10 minutes. If you could not get the toy, you can at least get the matching t-shirt, which has also been released at Original Fake retailers today. The t-shirt features the original drawing by Hajime Sorayama, which was used for the creation of the 3D figure. The tee is now available in two colorways at L'Intrus.

Stussy sat down with Tower Records in Japan to celebrate the retailer’s 30th anniversary. Bearing Stussy’s trademark script, the front of the t-shirt is emblazoned with a bold “no music, no life” slogan. On the reverse the words “face the music” are seen encircling Tower Records 30th Anniversary logo. Harsh words for those of us on the other side of the pond, considering Tower Records closedown stateside a few years back. Release date is set for August 11th at Stussy Japan .

Bread & Butter Berlin: Kangol x Patta Hat

Patta continues to impress with great collaborative projects, celebrating their 5th anniversary. After working with Stussy and Ontour, Patta now also got together with Kangol , of course on a hat. The hunting hat comes in all brown premium leather with ear flaps and features a tonal Patta logo embroidery on the front. The top of the hat features two metal buttons, both carrying the logos of the brands involved in the collaboration. Further great details follow on the lining, making this one of the best collaborations with Kangol that we have seen so far.

Medicom Toy Exhibition 2009 T-Shirts

Medicom opened their 2009 Toy Exhibition this weekend and for the occasion they got together with some brands to release a couple of collaborative t-shirts. The line-up includes collaborations with Stussy, TMT, Comme des Garcons and Neighborhood, with each tee coming in both black and white.

Hong Kong’s CLOT got together with Devilock from Japan and with Subcrew to collaborate on a mesh cap and matching t-shirt. Both pieces feature a graphic, combining the logos of all three brands. The graphic is embroidered on the front of the cap and printed on the bottom of the t-shirt.

Subcrew x ACU 2nd Anniversary - Second To None Set

It turns out that they created sets consisting of mesh caps and cycling jackets, coming wrapped as packs in plastic. The sets are coming in black and in light blue and are looking great.

Clot x Juice Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Exclusive Launch Product

Hong Kong-based Clot will be opening the second chapter of their Juice boutique in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In Clot tradition, the event will include an exclusive product release, in this case, a T-shirt featuring a highly pixelated image of Michael Jackson, and a red Clot x Juice logo trucker cap.

The grand opening ceremony takes place on June 20th at 3pm, where Clot owners Edison Chen, Kevin Poon and special guest Sam Lee will join Juice KL local partner Edwin Choong (of Sole What) to usher in prosperity with a traditional Chinese lion dance performance. The goods will be available for purchase after 5pm, where the general public will be allowed into the store. After that, the celebrations continue with an afterparty at Zouk Club KL.

CLOT x Levi's 505 Gold KzKlot 5th Anniversary Denim

2009, Juice, the store run by the CLOT crew in Hong Kong, is celebrating its 5th anniversary. For the occasion CLOT once again got together with Levi’s and with Kazuki to present the 505 Gold KzKlot denim. We already presented the denim to you later week, here now a more detailed look.

CLOT x Kazuki x Levi's Gold KzKlot 505 Denim

After the platinum version last month, CLOT once again worked with Kazuki and Levi’s on a pair f denim. This time the Levi’s 505 Denim comes with gold customizations, logo placements and details. The denim features several logo placements and tags, including the most prominent gold CLOT logo print on the back pocket. Also the denim features gold rivets, zippers and buttons. They used gold thread denim, meaning that when the denim is being used, the gold color will appear.

There are 5 tiers under CLOTone collection. Each color evicts a different emotion, i.e. Earth, Power, Playful, Pure and Dark. All these tiers are actually the extension of a style of a person. Thus, CLOT decided to make clothes with colors and designs and silhouettes that matched the corresponding emotion. So for EARTH we have some jungle safari shirts, for POWER we have some nice dress shirts that are more formal and elegant, DARK we have Terror Parka, with a darker side, the more mysterious and evil side, PLAYFUL is like the FDC. LOT Jacket, the clothes are more colorful and the actual designs are quite irregular and fun, PURE clothing is sleek simple and basic. After working with Madsaki and Kaws in the past, CLOT has now gotten together with Dutch artist Delta. The artist created a CLOT font graphic in his signature 3D style. The graphic is feature on three t-shirts, which will be released on April 3rd at Juice in Hong Kong.

With Spring 2009 collections around the corner, CLOT releases the last pieces from their Fall/Holiday 2008 C.S.A. collection this week. This last drop consists of the General M-65 Jacket, coming in black and military green, the Monogram Beanie in black and blue and also the Monogram Polo, which comes in a variety of colors.

CLOT - 2008 Christmas Greetings card

We presented you the Medicom Bearbrick greetings last week, here now a look at the CLOT Christmas card that we received in the mail. The envelope features a gel print reading “Merry Christmas” and inside you find a card with the greetings and with two patches – both the Christmas tree and the snowman feature CLOT logos and can be ironed onto clothes. Do not expect to see any of us to be running around with Christmas tree or snowman patches, but the idea is definitely pretty cool!

To welcome the Chinese Lunar New Year, Nike has teamed up with Clot to launch the lucky-red inspired Nike Clot Air Force 1, the auspicious addition to the Nike 1World AF1 Project.

The Nike Clot Air Force 1 pays tribute to the themes of luck, happiness and prosperity — as represented by the color red — which prevail during traditional Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.

The highlight peel-off double-layer design feature was created to inspire people to seek beyond the superficial, to search for what lies within. The Clot design team explains: “We need to remember to never judge simply by what you see.”

The Nike Clot Air Force 1 comes in a special “Chinese Candy Box” packaging set. Traditionally, Lunar New Year celebrations include offering sweets and other edible treats from a red lacquer box to ensure a “sweet” year. Honoring this custom, the Nike Clot Air Force 1 packaging is a hexagonal red box with a partitioned tray layer, to hold shoe accessories, and matching lid. The box’s exterior is adorned with Clot graphics in black.

The polo shirts come in black and white and feature the head of the Strawberry and Watermelon Bearbricks embroidered on the chest in small. The t-shirts also come in black and white and have the Bearbrick head printed in larger on the front. Each purchase comes with a sticker set as well.

We get a look at the Mastermind Japan Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. As usual the brand keeps it simple in terms of graphics, aside from their own skull and bones logo. The collection features some fantastic high quality jackets, ranging from more technical pieces to leather and fur hooded coats. Most impressed we are with the heavy knitwear selection for next season.

Visvim x Mastermind Japan Homer Tote

The latest item from Visvim’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection is a desert camo tote bag in cohorts with Mastermind Japan. Taking one of this summer’s most popular short-haul luggage styles, Visvim and Mastermind constructed a heavy canvas bag with brown leather straps and a dual-branded interior zippered-pouch. The skulled infused Homer bag is now available at F.I.L. Harajuku.

Mastermind Japan x Levi's Fenom MM505 Denim

No strangers to each other, Japanese brands mastermind Japan and Levi’s Fenom worked on a new pair of denim, entitled the MM505. The denim comes with lots of details and customizations, including Swarovski stones on the back, prints over the legs and an extensive wash. For us its a little too much, but we let you be the judge.

Mastermind Japan x Fillico Water

mastermind Japan teamed up with luxury water companyFillico, known for selling their water bottles for 100 USD. The bottles were decorated by mastermind Japan in black and white and with lots of rhinestones. We are bigger fans of the new boxed water and to be honest think that this does not make much sense, but it might be of interest as a collectors item for mastermind Japan fans.

Theater8 Casted By Mastermind Japan:Zero II

Once again mastermind Japan worked on a series of product as part of their Theater8 initiative. This time Zero II (Fatal Frame) was the collaborator. mastermind Japan produced a t-shirt, baseball jacket, boots and a wallet, as usual all decorated with their skull bones logo.

Mastermind Store Came To Macau

Mastermind Japan will be opening a flagship store in Macau. For the opening they have shot a photo spread with Juno, showcasing some of the new Mastermind Japan Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Hopefully we can show you soon some interior shots of the new store.

Mastermind Japan did their usual remixing, including the addition of the zipper and their logo.
