We get a look at the Mastermind Japan Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. As usual the brand keeps it simple in terms of graphics, aside from their own skull and bones logo. The collection features some fantastic high quality jackets, ranging from more technical pieces to leather and fur hooded coats. Most impressed we are with the heavy knitwear selection for next season.
Visvim x Mastermind Japan Homer Tote
The latest item from Visvim’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection is a desert camo tote bag in cohorts with Mastermind Japan. Taking one of this summer’s most popular short-haul luggage styles, Visvim and Mastermind constructed a heavy canvas bag with brown leather straps and a dual-branded interior zippered-pouch. The skulled infused Homer bag is now available at F.I.L. Harajuku.
Mastermind Japan x Levi's Fenom MM505 Denim
No strangers to each other, Japanese brands mastermind Japan and Levi’s Fenom worked on a new pair of denim, entitled the MM505. The denim comes with lots of details and customizations, including Swarovski stones on the back, prints over the legs and an extensive wash. For us its a little too much, but we let you be the judge.
Mastermind Japan x Fillico Water
mastermind Japan teamed up with luxury water companyFillico, known for selling their water bottles for 100 USD. The bottles were decorated by mastermind Japan in black and white and with lots of rhinestones. We are bigger fans of the new boxed water and to be honest think that this does not make much sense, but it might be of interest as a collectors item for mastermind Japan fans.
Theater8 Casted By Mastermind Japan:Zero II
Once again mastermind Japan worked on a series of product as part of their Theater8 initiative. This time Zero II (Fatal Frame) was the collaborator. mastermind Japan produced a t-shirt, baseball jacket, boots and a wallet, as usual all decorated with their skull bones logo.
Mastermind Store Came To Macau
Mastermind Japan will be opening a flagship store in Macau. For the opening they have shot a photo spread with Juno, showcasing some of the new Mastermind Japan Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Hopefully we can show you soon some interior shots of the new store.
Visvim x Mastermind Japan Lam Sandal
Next to the collaboration in the American Deck Mid, Visvim and Mastermind Japan also get together this season on the Lam Sandal, Visvim’s premium flip flop. The Lam Sandal comes in two colorways in this collaboration and features the Mastermind Japan logo on the top.

The latest pieces from the Mastermind Japan Spring/Summer 2009 Collection have been released today. The drop includes denim shorts, raglan t-shirts, t-shirts, hats, glasses, as well as more accessories. As usual the pieces mostly come in black, only featuring the skull and bones logo by the brand.

We take a first look at the accessories from the Mastermind Japan Spring/Summer 2009 “Ace High” collection. The high end Japanese brand presents several sunglasses, a beanie, tie, belt, socks and more. As usual they stay simple in color and stick mostly to black and their skull/bones logo.
Mastermind Japan x Visvim Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear
He two brands are working together since many years and release pretty much every season a couple of collaborations. We have to say though, from the above image, we can definitely say that the upcoming one is so far our favorite. It seems like a new shoe will be releasing in the Visvim Spring/Summer 2009 collection, sort of a boat shoe in a boot version. Mastermind Japan did their usual remixing, including the addition of the zipper and their logo.
